Prince Ajayi / Privacy
Privacy Policy
Effective: October 17, 2026
Last updated: October 17, 2026
This policy explains what personal information may be processed when you visit this website or contact Prince Ajayi, how it is used, and the choices and rights that may be available to you.
01
Introduction
This is the official website of Prince Ajayi, a Nigerian-born, Montréal-based multidisciplinary creative and artist working across film, music, movement and creative direction. It presents selected creative work, press coverage and music updates, and provides a way to make professional inquiries.
“We,” “us” and “our” in this policy refer to the person responsible for the website described below. This policy concerns personal information collected through this website, including information submitted through its contact form and information processed by the website’s technical services.
By using the website, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to read this policy. Where applicable law requires consent for a particular collection, use or disclosure, that consent will be requested separately or through an appropriate notice. Visiting the website does not constitute blanket consent to every possible use of personal information.
02
Who is responsible for your personal information?
The person responsible for this website’s handling of personal information is Prince Ajayi, using that professional name. Prince Ajayi is based in Montréal, Québec, Canada.
No mailing address or separate privacy email address is published here. For a privacy question, request or complaint, use the contact form and begin your message with “Privacy Request” or “Privacy Complaint.” Please include only the information needed to identify and understand your request.
03
Personal information we collect
A. Information you provide
If you submit the contact form about a project, collaboration, press inquiry, performance or other professional opportunity, the website collects the information you enter:
- your name and email address, which are required to receive and respond to your inquiry;
- your inquiry type and project summary, which are required;
- organization, timeline, budget range and relevant links, if you choose to provide them;
- any additional information you voluntarily include in your message; and
- your privacy-consent choice and the date and time associated with submission and consent.
Inquiry records are stored in the website’s Firestore database and can be viewed by authorized administrators. Contact notifications by email are not currently configured, so a successful submission is stored but does not itself send an email notification.
Please do not submit passwords, financial account details, government identification numbers, sensitive personal information or confidential information that is not necessary to your inquiry.
B. Technical and security information
The website’s hosting and technical services may process information such as an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, referring page, and request date and time in order to deliver the website, maintain security and diagnose technical issues. The hosting provider’s exact logs and retention settings depend on its configuration and have not been confirmed in this policy.
To limit repeated contact submissions, the server uses the network address available with a submission to apply a time-window rate limit. A one-way hash derived from that address is used as a database record key; the original address is not stored in the rate-limit record. The rate-limit record includes a time window and counter.
C. Analytics and interaction information
As of the date above, this website does not have analytics event tracking wired for contact submissions, music-link clicks, press-link clicks or referrals to 361Studios. No analytics events containing contact details or message contents are intentionally sent by the site’s application code.
If analytics or other non-essential tracking is added later, this policy and any required consent notice will be updated before that processing begins.
D. Information from other services
This website links to external music platforms, social networks, press publishers, video services and the 361Studios website. Those services may collect information under their own policies when you visit them. Their practices are outside this website’s control.
04
How we use information
Personal information may be used to:
- receive, review and respond to your inquiry;
- discuss relevant professional opportunities and ask follow-up questions about a proposed project;
- operate, maintain and protect the website and its administrative functions;
- detect spam or misuse and apply the contact form’s submission rate limit; and
- comply with applicable law or establish, exercise or defend legal rights where reasonably necessary.
Submitting the contact form does not subscribe you to a marketing mailing list. Personal information will not be used for a materially different purpose without an appropriate legal basis and any additional notice or consent required by applicable law.
05
Consent and your choices
The contact form asks you to confirm privacy consent when you submit an inquiry. You may choose not to provide optional information, but the required fields are needed for the website to accept the inquiry.
You may ask to withdraw consent for a consent-based use, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. Withdrawal does not make earlier processing unlawful, and information may still need to be retained where permitted or required by law. To make a request, use the contact form and identify it as a privacy request.
Optional analytics are not currently enabled by this site’s application code. If that changes and consent is required, an appropriate choice will be provided before the relevant technology is activated.
08
Website infrastructure
Firebase services are used by the website for authentication, database and file-storage functions. Contact inquiry records are stored in Firestore. Administrative access is restricted through authentication and server-side authorization checks. The application also validates contact submissions on the server and applies a submission rate limit.
The exact Firebase products, project configuration, data storage locations and provider terms depend on deployment settings and should be confirmed by the site owner. Use of Firebase does not by itself mean that all personal information is stored exclusively in Canada.
09
International processing and transfers
Website hosting, database, storage or other service providers may process or store information outside Québec or Canada, depending on their services and configuration. The actual provider locations and contractual arrangements have not been confirmed here.
Before personal information is communicated outside Québec, applicable legal requirements should be assessed. This may include considering the destination, sensitivity and purpose of the information and available safeguards, and completing any required assessment, contractual protection, authorization or notice.
10
Retention
Personal information should be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, subject to applicable legal requirements and legitimate business needs. A specific automated inquiry retention or deletion period is not currently configured. Archived inquiries remain stored until an administrator takes further action.
Contact rate-limit records include an expiration timestamp, but automatic database expiration has not been confirmed as configured. Technical logs, hosting records, backups and provider-held data may follow separate provider retention settings, which should be verified.
When information is no longer required, it should be securely deleted, destroyed or irreversibly anonymized as appropriate and permitted by law. The site owner should document and configure retention schedules, including applicable backup cycles.
11
Security
The website uses administrative authentication and authorization, server-side validation of contact submissions, rate limiting and HTTPS for browser-to-site communication in production. These measures are intended to reduce the risk of unauthorized access, misuse, loss or alteration.
No website, transmission method or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Security practices and provider arrangements should be reviewed as the site evolves, and safeguards should be appropriate to the nature and sensitivity of the information.
12
Privacy incidents
If a confidentiality incident involving personal information occurs, it will be assessed and addressed in accordance with applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, response may include containing and investigating the incident, reducing potential harm, documenting the event, notifying affected individuals or authorities where required, and taking corrective measures.
13
Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, you may be able to:
- ask whether personal information about you is held;
- request access to or correction of that information;
- ask how your information is collected, used or disclosed;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, subject to applicable restrictions;
- request deletion or cessation of certain uses or disclosures where a legal right applies; and
- raise a concern or make a complaint about the handling of your information.
These rights are subject to legal exceptions and limitations. Identity verification may be needed before responding. To submit a request, use the contact form and include “Privacy Request” in your message. Do not include passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
Requests will be reviewed and answered within timeframes required by applicable law. If a request cannot be fulfilled in full, the reason will be explained where required or appropriate.
14
Children and young people
This website presents Prince Ajayi’s professional and creative work; it is not designed specifically to collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly seek to collect children’s personal information where doing so would be inappropriate or unlawful.
If you believe a child has submitted personal information in circumstances that require action, please contact us through the contact form and identify the matter as a privacy request.
15
External links, music, press and 361Studios
This website may link to music streaming services, social networks, video platforms, publishers, professional profiles and the official 361Studios website. These links help visitors discover music, read coverage, explore creative work or learn about production services.
After leaving this website, the destination service’s privacy policy, cookie practices and terms may apply. We do not control the privacy, security or content practices of external websites. Review their policies before providing them with personal information.
Contact information submitted on this website is not automatically shared with 361Studios. Any sharing in connection with a specific inquiry should be relevant, necessary and permitted by applicable law.
16
Automated processing and profiling
Automated technical measures are used for spam prevention and contact submission rate limiting. The website does not intend to use contact submissions to make automated decisions that determine an individual’s legal rights or similarly significant interests.
If profiling, automated decision-making or another materially different form of processing is introduced, this policy and the relevant notices will be reviewed and updated before that functionality is introduced, where required by law.
17
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated when the website, its technology providers, data practices or legal obligations change. The current version and its “Last updated” date will appear on this page. Where a material change requires additional notice or consent, that notice or consent will be provided as required by applicable law.
Visitors are encouraged to review this page periodically.
18
Contact and privacy complaints
For questions about this policy, to exercise a privacy right, or to raise a concern, contact Prince Ajayi through the contact form. Begin your message with “Privacy Request” or “Privacy Complaint” so it can be identified. Do not send passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.
If you are not satisfied with the response, you may be able to contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec (CAI) or another competent privacy regulator, depending on the applicable law and the nature of your concern.
